Took advantage of a break in the heat to get this one done. Had a steady breeze all day otherwise it would have been hot. Never too thrilled to do this hike it's always warm-hot and just a challenge but it defiantly helps you prepare for bigger and better things. Unusual for this hike there were only a handful of hikers very few people even seen which was a nice change to the normal for this hike.
My wife spotted both snakes that we found, a Garter snake and a beautiful baby Rattlesnake up at the old mines. If you go up there be mindful of putting you hands around the edge of the wall as you enter, it blended right in.
