I was very nervous to do this hike knowing it was the TALLEST mountain in SoCal and after reading the reviews.  Turns out…. I was better prepared than I had thought. Like the reviews say the first mile ascent is a steep. But, we didn't think to was too bad. The last 1-2 miles is tough.

We couldn't see the beauty of the beginning of the trail because of our 2:30 AM start in the dark. However,  we could tell from the limited light from our headlamps and the glow the moon that the trees and streams were beautiful.  On our way down, after the sun had rose, the views we SPECTACULAR. So glad I got to experience this beautiful trail.

This trail makes 6, plus 1 (Total: 7), for my 6 pack challenge.
