Sharon and I started off all pumped and ready to go! The weather was perfect. We layered lightly, shedding our layers as it warmed up.
At one point, due to the trail being almost completely washed out, the trail was not much wider than my boot. I had to pray myself through it as it was on a sheet cliff.
Many downed trees we had to climb over or go around, if possible. The signage to identify trails is in need of remarking; not good for a first-timer.
This was a strenuous hike. Our decent was much better and a wonder trail. We came down through Winter Creek Trail. I'll be resting up and readying myself for the next one. Happy trails to all!
