Let me start by telling you that I am afraid of heights and there were children who did not seem to be bothered in the least.

there were numerous places where one wrong step would have had me bowling for hikers, a new sport??

The last 1.8 miles up are nearly straight up and the last 1/3 mile is fine as long as you like narrow trails with sheer drop offs on both sides. For example if you are actually a mountain goat, I think you will be fine.

I was lucky to be with two of the best humans on the planet who guided me and didn’t even tease me as we ever so slowly made our way across.

I am glad I did it and don’t ever need to do it again!

Up until that last bit the trail was beautiful.

PS: After all that there wasn’t even a register at the top!
