Hiked the Summit, and Eagle Peak. Tons of wildflowers. T'was relatively cool. Beautiful 360 views of the Sierra Nevada, Cascades, Coastal ranges, Bay, San Francisco, Valleys, …
Some of the trails (from Prospectors gap to Mitchell Canyon rd and Eagle Peak were fairly strenuous). Not recommended for hiking challenged. Lots of facilities, with water, near the summit, and campgrounds.
Watch out for cyclists, in both directions, on the narrow (1.5? lane, shoulder less road via south gate).
There were frost/rain/dew icicles on the pine trees.
