We stayed in the area so that we could get an early start and it made all of the difference. We were alone on the hike until we crested the summit and even there we only encountered a couple of hikers. The hike itself was not as difficult as it had been described and it took us a little over 4 hours round trip. The wild blueberries were in abundance on the summit and were a welcome treat as we scrambled along the last little bit. The view from the summit was the best I have seen yet and the pictures actually capture the spectacular morning.
