For our final hike of the season we hiked sawmill mountain. And added on the 3,2,1 challenge to it, although we had no intentions of doing the second challenge, we were peer pressured by two elder ladies that we met on our hike ahah. Started at 7:47 am and got to the summit at 9:36 am. The hike was very pleasant and the views at the condor observation point were spectacular. Took a few pictures and soaked up the views of Mother Nature before heading back on trail to reach our destination. Through out the switch backs the bushes were a bit over grown, however , the tall trees kept us cool on trail.  There are some steep and rocky areas through out the trail but doable. once we reached the summit we  enjoyed lunch at the top with amazing views, and gratitude. With the recent fires near the trails we  hiked previously we truly appreciate the beauty of nature and the calmness it brings us when we get to spend a day way from the everyday chaos we live in.  Once we got our pictures we started our decent and ran into two other hikers. We chatted for a bit and they asked if we’re were going to do the 3,2,1 challenge and we were hesitant to do it but ultimately we decided to just do it since we were already here. Why not do a few more miles and get patch and bragging rights.  Overall, great 6/6 hike overjoyed that we got to accomplish another six pack of peak challenge this year.
