A most needed strenuous hike: the elusive Mount Baden-Powell. Elusive because just a few months ago, I was snowshoeing on the highway that takes you to the trailhead, and as a result of the massive snowfall, highway 2 has been closed and Baden-Powell remained inaccessible. But it is open now, and it was an absolute treat to drive by the highway signs that I previously photographed covered in snow. And the views of Baldy! 🏔️❤️❄️

Start at 6:20am, summit at 8:45am, back to car by 11:30am. Trail in great condition, very little snow left in the shade but not on trail, bugs were annoying, plus it started getting hot as soon as the sun hit the trail.
