This mountain has earned it's name. After completing Mt baldy in 5 hours this climb took 10.5. of course the views are incredible, but the last 2 miles to the top are insanely difficult because of steepness and elevation. Our personal experience was great because of multiple other couples who kept us company at different parts of the trail. Gorgonio is a beast, and make sure you have all day, but it is worth it.
