I’ve done this one now about 5 times. It’s always the same – super steep and challenging both ways. The only time the trail gets bottle necked is the final ascent where it’s a one-track, lots of boulders, and steep. Every time I get to the top I can’t wait to get off the mountain!
Weather was beautiful, people always friendly, and I had great company. We always get fruit from the Blue Sky Ranch stand and it tastes like heaven after you’ve endured Hell Cajon Mountain.
