Moderate hike, roughly 7.6 miles. 4 hours with many stops to enjoy the incredible views. You will see a gate with a red heart to start. First half mile just walk through rows of oaks. Next the hike starts slowly uphil through a single narrow trail. Everyone says wear long pants but i was just fine wearing shorts. Once the trail goes uphill the manzanitas are mixed with large boulders. The view of Lake Morena gets better as you get higher. At the end of the uphill you'll see the famous kissing boulders. Some call it “Half Dome of San Diego” The views at the top are incredible! Best spot for lunch.
