Make sure you are well rested and in shape before you tackle this strenuous hike. This hike is no joke. You will be getting a major workout on this trail. We started at 5:30 am to catch the beautiful sunrise. It was a clear sunny day and the trail was wide open but the last mile and half to the summit was real grueling. Once we reached the top the views were beautiful. Make sure to bring at least 3 to 4 liters of water and start early to avoid the heat.
