As I had no prior reservation, I had to enter Red Rock State park before 8am. That worked out great, only a few fellow hikers were entering and parking spaces at the trail head were plenty. I started my hike around 7:20, reached the peak in 2:47 and the finish line after 4:00 hours. The trail was well marked, but still hard to follow in the middle section. I would 100% recommend hiking boots, I saw a few people with sneakers having a hard time on the rocky terrain. The trail was not all that challenging, but the mid section is pretty steep.
