The last time I hiked Mount Umunhum it was with my son's boy's scout troop over 5 years ago.  Today I got to hick with my son which is now an eagle scout and he is going to be 20 soon.  I was concerns that I was not to be able to keep up but I did.  not bad for and old guy.

We starter out hick at about 7:20am.  There was plenty of parking at this time even with a trail running event going on.    The trail was busy with hikers, trail runner and bikers, but it was fun to seeing people enjoying the morning.   We made to the summit and we spend about 30 minutes taking in the views and having a quick snack.   We completed the hike at 11:00.

This was a great fist hick to get the challenge started.  1 peak down 5 more to go and looking forward to it and maybe seeing some of you out on the trail.
