It was a perfect day for a hike! It was quite chilly but the sun felt wonderful. We didn't encounter many people on the way up but did pass many people on the way down. We were above the marine layer up at the top, which was amazing. The temperature dropped significantly, there was ice and snow formed in the trail on the way. No spikes needed. I definitely will be doing this trail again!
