There are a few routes for this peak. I did Azalea Glen Loop Trail to Conejos Trail and then took the fire road back down. The Hiking Guy has an excellent map of this route if you want to check it out. I'm definitely glad I did this one instead of the fire road both directions. The fire road is fine but not very scenic until the top. There was a high wind advisory on the day I went and the freezing gusts at the top were out of control. Still, overall a very enjoyable, not difficult hike for a Sunday morning.
