We got a beautiful day for this hike. No snow. Clear skies, sunny and a nice breeze when needed. The start to this trail is quite a treasure of lined cabins along the creek dating back to the early 1900’s. This trail is rocky so proper footwear is a must. We had GPS but the trail is so well marked and maintained, we didn’t really need it. The view at the top is incredible and you are even rewarded with a plaque to take a picture with, the elevation and Mt. Cucamonga etched into the wood. It took us about 7 hours with a few breaks for lunch and water. It’s a great hike for dogs!
