Sitting in the car in the parking lot you could see swarms of flies and I was thinking to myself this is not going to work LOL decided to do the six pack challenge hike and also the 3 2 1. Bugs were not too bad on the way to Mount Piños. But from Sawhill to Grouse really bad. Beautiful views at Sawhill. Ran into a group of ladies at grouse and one actually recognized me from the Southern Cal hiking group so that was fun. I loved the up-and-down of this hike it switches things up. The weather was perfect and occasionally glad for some cloud cover. A great way to celebrate memorial day
