Even though this is the longest hike of the challenge, it might be the easiest in my opinion. The elevation gain over that many miles is not to intense for the most part and the trail is awesome to the saddle. I haven’t been past the saddle in years and I actually really loved the last mile plus to the top! We chose a cool day which made it so nice and not windy at all on the top! It is still so green with lots of wild flowers, I loved every minute. Luckily I didn’t leave my keys in my gas tank as I have in the past, because when we got back to my car it was wide open as if someone had been checking! Something to keep in mind!
