Umunhum holds a special place in my heart. Its such a beautiful hike with a lot of shade and trees. The weather was warm but the trees kept us cool for the majority of the trail. There is a goof incline on the way up and you share the trail with cyclers. the trail is wide enough for it to be safe. This was my first hike with Girls Who Hike and the group is great women. I didn't realize there was a parking lot at the top until a few hundred yards to to picnic area, which offered a covered area to rest before making our way to to top. The view from the top is amazing an you could see all the way across the valley to other peaks.
