Wilson is always more challenging than I expect. Just because the tailhead is near a neighborhood does not mean this is an easy urban hike! It is a steady steep uphill for the majority of the hike. It was a hot day but could find shade. The snack bar was closed at the top so had to be hungry. I did find the sign this time, which is about another mike and a half from the very to of the trail. It was a nice 7 hours to myself in nature. Much appreciation.
