The week before this hike I got sick with bronchitis. I thought I was going to be fine but as soon as I started hiking I realized I was struggling. It was a cold morning and there were snow still on some part of the trail. I was going very slow trying to breath but my illness did not allow me to walk. I was on the trail and did not want to stop. I was insane for risking my life but I was too stubborn to quit. Now I realize I won’t do that again.
