We started at 7 am and got to the summit by 12 pm. It was a continual uphill climb (4,300 ft gain) and saw a beautiful waterfall at the beginning on the left. There were chair lifts going on the right up to a ski club house that was open for drinks and food. The Devil’s Backbone was a single trail with steep drops on either side. The last mile was straight up to the summit.
