Beautiful clear day, but breezy and chilly!  47 when we reached the summit a little after 9am with a windchill of 38!🥶  Plenty of water in the creeks, so lots of waterfalls through the various trails, but not so much that crossing anything was difficult.  It was still pretty empty when we came down, so we grabbed a picnic table and had a nice warm breakfast. Lots of wildlife today, too!  A few banana slugs, bunnies, squirrels, deer and on coyote.  Lots of mushrooms everywhere too!  Second challenge hike completed for 2024. 😊

This was Chad’s first trek on Tam.  He started trekking last April, but I had completed the challenge in March, so he missed out. He’s looking forward to completing the challenge this year!
