Early Saturday morning start in an attempt to beat the bad weather we knew was coming. Started at the Oak grove trailhead and quickly made our way up the steep first couple of miles. Did not see anyone else in the trail. Very windy once we got to the fire road and we continued up the trail. Very pretty views! Kind of a boring trail though. We continued on up as the weather rolled in- dark clouds, chilly and windy. We were startled by a quiet trail runner about 1mile from the summit. Had not seen anyone until

that point. Put on put wind jackets for the final push in strong wind. Made to the top and met a gal up there. We took our pics, had a quick snack and headed down because the weather was coming quickly and we had hoped to beat the rain. Very cold and windy and rain kicked in right before we got to the steep single track. It rained the entire was back after that.  We got a little confused trying to find the trail where it splits by the house there. We eventually got back on track and say a couple wild turkeys in that section. Overall nice hike with pretty views.
