We initially set out to do Ontario Peak only but when we got back to the saddle, we decided, what the heck, it's only 2.5 miles to Cucamonga, why not bag it too? So that's exactly what we did. That added 5+ miles and over 1300′ in elevation gain to our initial 12 mile and 3800′ gain hike. Now we know that there is a short cut to go through Big Horn to Cucamonga. Next year!
