Did this hike on Veterans Day as the first of two hikes. The entrance booth was unmanned so I self-paid at the entrance and parked in the day-use parking area. Headed up the mountain. The hike was uneventful and despite the number of people at the park, I mostly was by myself on the trail. I saw people coming down as well as others going up, some walking, some were biking.  The weather was fine, not too windy, not too hot. After taking pictures and a short break at the summit, I headed back to the car to prepare for the Volcan Mountain hike in the afternoon.
