We started around noon with a high of 57 degrees and clear skies. Having taken the multi use trail up and Five Oaks trail down, if I were to do it again, I would take Five Oaks both ways, it isn't as steep.
The trees are blooming right now, so the bees are in abundance. Otherwise, this trail is pretty cool and there is a lot to see: information boards about snakes and mountain lions, viewpoint boards that show you what mountains you're looking at, left over chimney stacks and stone benches, but the best is the rain shadow effect where you can see the rolling brown hills layered behind the rolling green hills.
This hike took us about 2 hours.
