Peak #10 ✔ Hot Springs Mountain is definitely not one to be hiked in the summer. The surrounding were dry and dusty with biting flies amd bugs from the moment you open your car door to the top of the 5 mile dirt road. Two snakes introduced themselves to the three of us within the first mile and the dirt road is broken up from erosion. $10 per person to enter & port-a-potties at the trailhead. No wildflowers but butterflies at the peak.
