Got on the trail at 0630. It was cool and partly cloudy. The trail is a tough one. The start is steep, levels out a bit, then for the hike you will have many ups and downs making the hike back to the car difficult because you're a bit tired. As we made it to the half way marker we started to hike into the clouds. We had been working hard and made good time so I was a bit sweaty. Walking into the clouds now became cold and wet. I had a rain coat in my pack just in case and was glad to put it on. From the peak we couldn't see anything. The clouds were thick. It was still awesome to hike in these conditions and hike thought the clouds. The wind was blowing and watching the clouds moving across the rocks was really cool. Will go back again some time to try and experience the view from the peak.
