This was an afternoon hike. There were a few bugs but it was not too bad. The trail was in good condition even though it felt like it was overgrown in some spots. Not too many hikers on the trail although I met a few challengers on the way back as I was heading up. The weather was not hot although it did get windy as I got closer to the summit and at the summit there were times when the wind blew a strong breeze and I had to put on one layer. Although I had the summit most to myself when I arrived, a few other hikers arrived after a few minutes. I stayed at the summit for an hour and then headed back. I took my time and the other hikers who had stayed behind at the summit eventually caught up with me and I let them pass. The sun had set by the time I had returned to my vehicle but I didn't need to put on a headlight.
