Beautiful trail to Volcan Mountain! This was my second peak of the day… and I was about ready to quit about 1 mile in, but kept pushing through and eventually made it to the summit. Every step and effort was worth it for redemption from last year's summit. The weather last year was horrid, high winds, super cold and a mixture of fog and mist all at once. This year the sun greeted and treated us much better. This mountain has easily become one of my favorites, plus it's close enough to Julian Pie Co for a slice of celebratory pie.
