The Volcan mountain hike was a lot of fun however I might not have picked the best day to do it because of heavy fog and cold conditions. This meant that view points were blocked by fog and I missed out on a bit of scenery. Apart from that the trail was well marked and easy to follow. The first half is pretty strenuous, at least for me a beginner hiker, but the last half isn’t as bad. I also hiked alone as this was my first hike in the challenge but I would recommend hiking with a friend. Overall it was very fun and I would definitely come back on a clearer day.
