Fairly peaceful and easy trail. I went uphill on the Volcan Mountain trail and downhill on the Five Oaks trail. The Five Oaks trail can add a bit of time and is overgrown a little but nothing too drastic. It does get a bit steep at times but not for long.

The bugs weren't too bad at all when I went. Maybe about 5 minutes of it was annoying. The rest was more than tolerable with some bug repellant. No head net necessary at all. I would say 60-70% of the trail had almost no bugs.

When I went it was about 90F and there's not much shade so I definitely had to be in shape and ready to tolerate that kind of weather for sustained periods of time.

The views were pretty nice!
