I did this hike 4th, after a few of the more strenuous hikes in the challenge. This made for a very pleasant and easygoing experience on the trail. I was able to focus on the plethora of turkey vultures and acorn woodpeckers around, as well as making conversation with friends on the trail without having to stop to catch our breath. My only reservation about this hike was that compared to the others, it was not in a particularly ‘wild' environment, being surrounded by vineyards and having some traces of livestock grazing.
