It was a drizzly day with temps in the low 50's. The trails were still firm but the brush very wet. Feet did get a bit soaked. No views to speak of, but some nice flowers along the way. Pretty windy on top which is pretty typical for this location. Even with the less than desirable weather conditions it was still an enjoyable day spending time with friends and commiserating on the conditions. We did stay to the primary path on the ascent and chose to return on the 5 Oaks trail on the decent. This does give a nice diversity to the hike.
