Started at Ice House Cyn. Trailhead at 5:20AM, and the parking lot was half-way full. There were wilderness permits available at the start of the trailhead. Be aware, this trail will kick your butt from the start. Although, there is an incline right from the beginning, hiking along the creek is very rewarding!! Most of the hike to the pike is elevation gain, and the trail is well maintained! There are lots of photo ops along the trail! We met a lot of friendly people, and they were nice to take group pictures of us!! This is my favorite trail of the SoCal peak challenge.
