Started off from the candy shop on a fairly empty trail. Two cars in the lot before me and did not see anyone for the first 4 miles. It started out as a cold day but got warm and dry pretty fast. The trail itself was flat for the most part. The last portion where you take a almost hidden turn to get to the peak was steep and slippery. Hiking poles recommended for this section alone. Was good to get this hike done the day before Thanksgiving and complete my 6 pack challenge
