Parking opens at 6 am and fills instantly. Recommend getting there early and waiting for the gates to open. Limited private parking available for $20/car. The trail to Mount Wilson wasn't too crowded with people. Excessive amounts of poison oak along the majority of the trail (impossible not to brush up against). There is also quite a bit of poisonous Poodle Dog Bush after the Eaton fire. We spotted a non-poisonous striped racer snake and countless wildflowers in bloom. Gorgeous views and the cafe at the top makes for the perfect peak experience…just smelling the coffee was revitalizing. There are “peak” signs at Echo Rock.
