I consider this one an easy/moderate hike. Although it was over 16 miles, we maintained a relatively slow speed, so everyone could keep up. The most surprising thing was the temperature change we experienced during the hike. We went from wearing t-shirts at the bottom to putting on jackets, hoodes, gloves, hats, scarves etc. on the top where it was freezing cold.
While others reported bear sightings that day, we only spotted some squirrels and birds on the trail. The views were beautiful throughout the hike and from the top.

Hi there! Would you attempt this hike without poles?
