I got to the Los Coyotes Reservation around 11:00 but the ranger station/gate was unmanned. However, the trip gave instructions on how to self-pay for the admission which I promptly followed and inserted my payment enclosed in an envelope with the required information on the designated slot on the door. The restrooms were unavailable due to being locked and the portopotty that used to be deployed there was gone. I started the hike. There were no other persons on the trail going up when I started. Most hikers I met were those coming down. Reached the summit without incident, signed the register, scrambled to one of the survey markers and took my photos before scrambling back down and heading up in the ladder and fixed rope to the summit block. Took pictures there. Some other hikers arrived. I headed down. Explored another side trail but as it was not heading back to Sukat Road I retraced my steps and headed on the way down. The hike back was uneventful and I made it back before there was a need to use headlights.
