Beautiful and just on the other side of 5am when the magic is fresh and in the air I always begin. The roar of water that could  have very well been wind because it was unseen. I was quickly reminded this precious gem makes you work for everything  ahead of you. I ran into one the volunteers that help maintain the gift that just keeps on giving and thanked him greatly. It was my 1st time in the mountains since spending time in the Sierras at the Whitney Portal and hiking to Lone Pine Lake my amazing Vizsla (Divoc). Trail was easy to follow, a few downed trees to go over and under and about a foot of snow the last 1.5 miles. It’s a challenging long masterpiece gift that keeps giving on
