Trail was gorgeous, stunning actually. The views are amazing. The weather was perfect..not too hot or cold and a nice cool breeze. A few stretches of flatter ground but mostly you will be on a consistent incline to the top while moving along the switchbacks.. With an abundance of trees the trail is attractive and provides decent shade. As of 6/9/19 there were a few areas of snow. Almost all can be safely crossed but hiking poles really help on one or two steep sketchy ones. Some makeshift trails/switchbacks have been made to go around the snow but I would not encourage doing that.
As always some of the nicest people are on the trails and it was nice to chat with a few including some through hikers on the PCT.
This was one of the most enjoyable trails I've been on and it certainly gave me a good workout. Round trip 4.5 hours of steady moving pace not including taking time to chat, take pics or enjoy the summit break. Highly recommended and very do-able.
