What was I thinking Humphreys is just a title to help me remember that this trail is no joke. This is my 3-4 summit ( my memory is failing me) and by far the most beautiful weather I had! Long covered switchbacks with coverage through the forest leads you to the saddle.

I had almost forgotten how the altitude takes your breath away. We were slow and steady.

the views at the saddle and beyond are spectacular. The last mile and a half to the summit is a rocky climb. Got some light altitude sickness which didn’t allow me to stay at top very long!

also a very busy trail this weekend!! Never seen that many people on it do masks are a good idea!
