First, I loved this hike even though it is the switchback hike from hell. Other than that it was an amazing hike! There was a ton of shade going up, but at the top there isn't much to sit in. However, there was a nice breeze at the top as well and the weather was perfect (in the 80s). The views were incredible in all directions! I will definitely be doing this hike in the future, and it's not too difficult if you are new to hiking. There was a good amount of traffic going up and down the mountain, but as always everyone is super friendly just out enjoying nature. This was my last peak of the challenge and now it's time to look at possibly doing Mount Whitney. And as always…. my French girl pose in front of the monument at the top. =)
