Felt great to do this hike again! Started the hike at 0640 and made it to the Sedona overlook at 0840. Spent some time, ate some grub, snagged a few photos, enjoyed the peace (had the whole side to myself), then proceeded heading to the north overlook. 45 minutes to the north lookout, enjoyed some conversation and views with some fellow adventurers then started the hike out at 1009. Completed at 1202 and made it just in time to my favorite brew spot to catch the space-x launch! It was a peaceful hike, some warmth but the air was cool. After the first bench the bugs were really bad but it’s all part of the season and nature. Bugs are nature’s instruments! Blessed to be able to walk those 12 beautiful miles.
