We started at 630am and got to the peak around 1030. Much of the trail is shaded which was perfect for such a hot day. The last 2 miles to the peak were brutal. And of course once you are just about done coming down, you have a horrible hike up the fire road. Not sure I'm looking forward to that one again. Oh, and someone stole the sign from the peak, so if you want one, bring your own.
