This was actually a little easier than Bear Mountain, I think. The first couple miles account for the bulk of the steep grades, but once you level-out First Bench, the climb to the top was gradual and relaxing. My brother and I went the extra mile and hiked to the Canyon Overlook, which was a truly amazing view.
