Beautiful and humid hike. Taking the N. Wilson trail seemed like a great plan. The first 2 miles are like a jungle, in a good way. Shady and cool for us. We did the whole trail in about 5.5 hours with a nice long break at the top. The last 2 miles coming down were slippery. Poles were super helpful! They saved my butt many times! Bring water and snacks of course.
Thanks Barb for a great hiking day. We finished off with lunch at the Junipine (The Table). Nothing like a cold beer after a big a$$ hike!
