Wilson on a cool Monday in Spring is the best way to do it. Saw about a dozen people, total. My dog, Shasta, loved all the stream crossings and shade. Saw one itty bitty snake on our way down the Upper Winter Creek trail. This was my first time up there since the fire – didn't realize how close it got to the parking lot and structures 8^O
